One of our dives took us through a swimthrough that had this old Spanish anchor sticking out the side of the wall. Captain Murry said it is between 300 and 400 years old. Pretty cool.
The pool at OCW is pretty amazing. Fountains shoot out over little under water stools and the whole pool makes a moat-like loop around an island complete with BBQ grills and lounge chairs.
We saw a ton of Stingrays on this trip. This little guy found himself something tastey to eat. He was completely oblivious to the fact I was hovering right in front of him. How cool is that?
This dude cruised right up behind us! The Divemaster had my camera to take our picture when this black tip shark came up to check us out. Tony's (the DM) eyes got as big as saucers and when I realized what was going on, I motioned as if to say, "forget our picture, get the shark!"
I've never seen a Flying Gurnard, and this trip I saw 3! These two were just hanging out looking for food. When they spread their "wings" they look like underwater bats.
I was the first in the water on this dive and as soon as I decended I spotted this little guy cruising across the bottom. Too bad I don't have a strobe (Kyle)!
